Found first,
then fixed.
A site or app that’s slow, or behaving in a way it shouldn’t, profiled to find the real cause and fixed at a fixed price.
Good fit, or not quite
This covers it if
- Pages loading slowly, or a specific flow that feels sluggish
- Something that works but shouldn’t take as long as it does
- Intermittent bugs that are hard to reproduce or pin down
- You want the actual cause found, not a guess-and-check patch
Look elsewhere if
- The app needs new features, not investigation of existing ones
- You already know the cause and just need it built
- The whole app needs a rebuild, not a targeted fix
Something’s actually broken, not just slow? See fix a broken website.
Process
Measured, not guessed, before and after.
Describe it
What feels slow or wrong, when it happens, and a link. Any error logs or examples help but aren’t required.
Profile & diagnose
Actual measurement of what’s slow or misfiring, so the fix targets the real bottleneck, not a symptom.
Fix & verify
Fixed, then measured again to confirm it actually improved, not just declared done.
That’s expected. Diagnosis is part of the job, so I’ll profile the actual behaviour before confirming a price rather than quoting blind.
No. Most performance and debugging jobs I take on are for code I didn’t write. I’ll need access to the code or hosting to look at it properly.
I measure before and after, load times, query times, or whatever the actual bottleneck was, so the improvement is something you can see, not just a claim.
Most single-issue jobs are diagnosed within a day or two and resolved within a few, depending on how deep the cause turns out to be.
Send the link.
I’ll profile it.
Tell me what feels slow or wrong and where it lives, and I’ll confirm a fixed price after a quick look.
